We’re a small, private microschool located on nine scenic acres of a residential property just minutes from downtown Crozet, VA. With a close-knit group of 12 students each day and two dedicated educators, we offer highly personalized, hands-on learning in a nurturing, nature-based setting. At Hidden Valley Forest School, every child is seen, valued, and supported.

Kindergarten- Third Grade

Ages 5-8

Monday-Friday, 9:00AM-3:00PM

Our K-3 program focuses on experiential learning through project-based activities, plenty of outdoor exploration and authentic free play, as well as individualized attention in a mixed age, small group setting. We derive our curriculum from our experiences in nature, following the natural rhythms of the seasons, and children’s unique interests.

*Students must be potty-trained.
